Flipping the Senate starting with NC! sponsored by CA Dems

August 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating until August 15, 2020

NC is at a crossroads they have fought long and hard for: A Democratic Governor, a State Legislature going purple, and one of the most critical Senate Seats in the country with a strong chance to go BLUE!

Cal Cunningham has a very good chance of making Republican Thom Tillis a one-term senator in North Carolina, and has recently pulled into a slim lead even after Mitch McConnell’s super-PAC flooded the state with $22 million in campaign ad buys.

So we know that the GOP is determined to out-raise and out-spend the Dems, but we also know that they can not and will not out-organize us!

Many political analysts have included this race as one of “the most flippable” for November. With a strong candidate like Cunningham, we can see why.

“I believe the three most important issues facing the nation are the cost of and access to health care, economic opportunity, and climate change,” Cunningham stated to Indy Week, a North Carolina news weekly.

“One of my first actions in the Senate will be filing a bill to overturn Citizens United and tackle the corruption that is preventing us from making progress on those issues,” the candidate said. “That means reforming our political system so it serves those who send Senators to Washington, not special interests.”

Let’s help Cunningham get to Washington, D.C. by calling voters in North Carolina and preparing them to cast their precious votes for him in this November’s historic election.

NC voters have the power to flip this seat and potentially usher in a Democratic-majority Senate.
